Make a Referral
Know someone who could benefit from Fire & Peace?
Fire & Peace welcomes referrals from individuals, families, professionals and partner organisations for people who may benefit from our nature based experiences.
Whether you are referring yourself or someone you support, we will take time to understand the circumstances, discuss the most appropriate opportunity and make sure Fire & Peace is the right fit.

How referrals work
1.
Send us a referral
Complete our short referral form with the information we need to understand the person and their circumstances.
2.
We have a conversation
A member of the
Fire & Peace team will get in touch to discuss the referral, answer any questions and understand what support may be most appropriate.
3.
We find the right opportunity
If Fire & Peace is a suitable fit, we will look at the most appropriate programme or upcoming experience and discuss the next steps with you.
Who can be referred?
Every person and every journey is different, and requirements may vary depending on the programme or experience. We recognise that not everyone who attends a Fire & Peace trip is in active addiction recovery. To protect the safety and wellbeing of everyone attending, all participants must meet our core Safe Space requirements, with requirement 2 applying specifically to those in addiction recovery.
1. Commitment to positive change
Participants should demonstrate a commitment to their wellbeing or recovery and be actively working towards reducing behaviours or circumstances that may negatively affect themselves or others.
2. Substance free participation
Participants must not currently be using alcohol, illegal drugs or non prescribed substances. Prescribed medication is permitted and, where relevant to safe participation, will be confirmed confidentially with the
Fire & Peace team before attending.
3. Comfortable participating in a group
Participants need to be able to take part safely within a group environment and respect the shared space of others.
4. Respect for other people’s experiences
Participants must be willing and able to listen respectfully to others, recognising that people attending Fire & Peace may have very different life experiences.
Ready to make a referral?
If you or the person you are referring meets our Safe Space requirements, complete the referral form and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
